Thanks to a high-silica tread compound and directional grooves the Winter Snowcontrol provides traction throughout a wide range of cold temperatures and wintry driving conditions. High-density and notched tread blocks increase traction in snow. The tire’s internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by nylon, to provide high-speed durability, with a polyester body to enhance ride quality.
It is suitable for a wide range of cars: city cars, medium sized cars and MPVs.
Due to the traction capabilities of Winter Snowcontrol tires, Pirelli recommends using them only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.
